His men quickly moved in to restrain Ryan. Jared wasn't too afraid of Charley as he had someone backing him up, but injuring Ryan outright wasn't in his plans. "H-How dare you hit me? Do you really think I won't call my father?" Ryan stammered, both shocked and furious. Jared tossed his phone at him with a cold smile. "Go ahead, call him. Ask him why he hasn't moved against me all these years, and while you're at it, ask him about the connections I've got in Southbury!" Seeing Jared's fearless demeanor, Ryan started to hesitate. He realized Jared wasn't afraid of him at all. "You spoiled brat, do you really think you're someone important? I used to be polite to you out of respect! Now, you'd better behave!"
