Ruby's Predicament

(Author's POV) Ruby impatiently paced her bedroom waiting for any news from the rogues. Her long silk nightgown trailed behind her as she continuously stared at her phone. Her long perfectly manicured nails with red nailpolish drummed the side of her phone. As the seconds ticked by her anxiousness grew. She could only hope that nothing would go wrong this time around. At midnight, her phone finally rang, and she quickly swiped at her phone’s screen to receive the call, hoping for good news. “Did you succeed?” She quickly asked. “Succeed?
