"JANICE, do something! I can't be in jail! What are my friends going to say? It's all embarrassing and even your name will be damaged!" Margaret was walking back and forth as she speaks.

Janice just silently watched her mother. A bitter smile flashed on her lips, her mother was still thinking about what the people she considered a treasure in her life would say.

"Mom, can you think of the two of us first before about them?" She said to her mother as she could not tolerate her nonsense anymore.

Margaret angrily turned her gaze to her daughter. "Did you think of that when you left me in the hospital and didn't show up in front of me for three days?" she scolded her daughter.

"You're not the only one who's embarrassed and needs a break from thinking about the problem." Janice replied sadly to her mother as her face sunk into both of her palms. She felt exhausted and did not have the strength to argue with her mother.
