Alana’s POV. Ignoring Daniel's simmering anger, my team arrived promptly, followed by Naomi and her crew. We all gathered around the table, sipping on our chosen beverages. "Your ring is stunning," Naomi exclaimed, setting her water glass down and fixing her gaze on the glittering gem adorning my finger. "Thank you. I just got it back; it had to be altered," I explained, my voice filled with pride as I looked at the dazzling ring. "Was it Alec I saw leaving the building a little while ago?" Naomi inquired. "Yeah, he just dropped by for a quick visit," I replied, keeping my tone casual, even as I sensed the intensity of Daniel's and Suzanne's stares. "Any chance he's an actor too?" Naomi teased, clearly taken by Alec's charm. "No, fortunately, his handsomeness is reserved for me alone," I quipped, eliciting laughter from the group. "He'd make a fine actor.
