When Judy awoke, the sky was already bright. The man beside her had left at some point, leaving only the warmth on the sheets behind. Judy tried to move, but she felt sore all over. Clutching the blanket tightly, Judy struggled to sit up. After a bout of dizziness, she stared blankly at the shadows on the curtains and recalled Clark's words from last night. "Remember, once you step into the Reid family, only I can decide when to kick you out." Judy tightened the blanket around her. Was she destined to be under someone else's control for the rest of her life? No, even if it was for Lilly's sake, she had to change the situation. She couldn't go on like this. Suddenly, her phone rang. Matthew's voice sounded cold and indifferent on the other end. "Come back home immediately. I need to talk to you." When the call disconnected, Judy frowned. She knew Matthew wanted to question her about what happened at the banquet. Great timing. She had something to discuss with him as well.
