Judy looked at Clark in panic.
As Clark tightened his grip around her neck, his voice lowered. "You've already signed the divorce papers. Why are you so eager to accompany me to the banquet? Wouldn't it be better to visit your grandma?"
Judy snapped out of it. "Mr. Reid Senior forced my hand."
"So this wasn't your intention?" Clark questioned.
Judy shook her head.
"Very well," Clark sneered and turned away. "Then tell me, where did you go this afternoon? Who did you meet?"
Judy was shocked. He knew.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Judy tried to play it off.
"You're lying!" Clark squeezed her neck. "Who is that man you went out to meet repeatedly?"
Judy gasped for air, making an ugly gurgling sound.
