The door suddenly opened, and the doctor who entered was none other than Emma Thompson, a mutual friend of Ophelia and me. She seemed slightly surprised to see me. She probably didn't expect to run into me here. She glanced at the police officers in the room before walking over with my medical file. "You're the patient from last night?" I nodded. "Yes." "We took some blood samples and found a few things. Are you able to talk now?" I glanced at the police officers nearby and felt uncomfortable. "Sorry, officer. I might not have time to answer your questions right now—" Before I could finish, Emma cut in. "Officer, the patient's condition is quite serious. Not only does he have a concussion, but there are multiple injuries. It's not advisable to interrogate him at this time." Seeing this, the officer stood up. "Alright then. Mr. Parker, we hope you won't leave the city for now. We'll be conducting an investigation and following up. Please keep your phone on." After the police left
