"Help! Help!" Elora's voice echoed through the desolate forest.
No one responded.
Stacey halted, turning her gaze toward the direction of Elora's cry. An icy smirk appeared on her face.
"You're too smart for your own good, Elora," Stacey mumbled, a dark laugh escaping her lips. "You took out all your tracking drones. Now, there's nobody to come to your rescue."
In a state of panic, Elora broke down. "Please, don't do this. I don't want to lose my mind!"
"Well, that's not up to you anymore," Stacey shot back, her eyes narrowing. "How did you find out about me and Clara that night?"
Elora sniffled, "Even though my grandma can't hear, see, or speak anymore, she can still write. She wrote your name."
A chill ran through Stacey's body, and she coldly said, "If I had known, I would have made sure she couldn't write either."
Elora shivered at her words.
"Clara doesn't have a son, does she?" Stacey questioned, her gaze piercing. "Where did you come from then?"
