"Nothing is going to make it happen faster, Talia," Lyra said to me. "Just sit down," she said, pointing to a chair. "It's bad for you," she added.
I didn't listen. Two days since Baron left me to the war council. Two days since I have seen him. Two days since he had touched me. "I think he's angry with me," I said, turning to look at her.
"Why would you think that?" she asked.
"I don't know. I tried to get him not to fight against Stormbrook, but he didn't listen."
"Why should he not fight against them?" Avario asked.
"Because it is wrong."
"Why is it wrong?"
"If they just clear the misunderstanding, then perhaps everything will be better."
"Or maybe he should just do revenge," Lyra said. "Perhaps if he were to attack as well, take as many lives as they took, maybe the air will be cleared," she further explained, clapping her hands.
