Avario’s eyes hardened. “So, what? I’m supposed to forgive and forget just because you say so?”
“No,” Amalia said, her voice firm. “You’re supposed to use this chance to survive. To get out of this cell and continue on your quest. You did mention that you were going to find your sister.” Her eyes were filled with longing as she looked at the door. “So perhaps it is best to leave and do what you need to do.”
