Sienna doubted Orpheus would be able to identify her. She took two steps toward Orpheus, who had his back to her.
Yet, Orpheus suddenly turned around. He took the luggage from her hand naturally while he lifted the corner of his mouth in a shallow arc. He treated Sienna gently and patiently. He uttered in a celestial voice, “Miss Sienna, you should have let me carry the luggage.”
The girl who was standing aside to watch Sienna embarrass herself flushed upon hearing this.
She chided angrily, “Humph! It’s true when they say that handsome men have bad taste. Why did he treat that ugly girl like a treasure while ignoring a beautiful girl like me who's trying to chat him up?”
Clearly, that girl thought Sienna and Orpheus were an item. She assumed the way Orpheus addressed Sienna was a joke between lovers.
Sienna was initially shocked by Orpheus’s ability to recognize her, but she lost interest in asking him about it when that girl interrupted. She said, “Let’s go.”
