I turned around and opened the door. I was about to enter Xavier's ward when Jared suddenly gripped my wrist. "Yvonne can't live without Xavier." His face was red with rage. It looked like he hadn't slept for a whole week. "Yeah. So?" "We'll split up." Yvonne suddenly whipped her head up. She was more surprised than I was. "Are you leaving me?" It seemed like what Jared said devastated her. She staggered and withdrew her hand from Jared. "How could you say something like that?" Yvonne gave up her perfect family and lost a son for Jared's sake, yet he wasn't even a little perturbed when he said he wanted to divorce her. "Well, what do you want me to do, then? Am I supposed to do nothing while you and Xavier are forced to part ways?" Jared was hysterical. He looked like he was in so much sorrow as his face contorted with anguish.
