Nicholas Andrieux Dinner was over, but the tension still lingered in the air. I had barely taken a step away from the dining room when my father called my name. "Nicholas, I need you to attend the Andrieux Jewelry meeting next week." I turned back, meeting his firm gaze. "What’s the meeting about?" "Andrieux is preparing to release a new collection soon," he explained. "The designs are finalized, but there’s an issue with one of our stone suppliers. This particular supplier is stubborn—difficult to deal with. I need you to persuade him." I nodded, taking in the details. I had dealt with difficult negotiators before—some were stubborn, some arrogant, and others just greedy. Either way, I could handle it. Before I could respond, he decided to interfere. George. "Why not let me handle it?" George said smoothly, stepping closer to our father. "Nicholas already has a lot on his plate. I can take care of the supplier." I could barely hide my smirk. Desperate, aren’t we? Our father
