Gregory paused before answering. "Well, without any documentation, it might be difficult. But I think we could still make a strong case based on your tenure and performance. There are laws in place to protect employees from this sort of mistreatment. However, it won't be easy, and it could be a long process."
"I know it won't be easy, Gregory, but I can't just let them get away with this." Claire's tone was firm, determined. "They can't treat people like this and expect no consequences. I need to fight back, for myself and for others who might find themselves in the same position."
Gregory’s voice was encouraging. “I admire your resolve, Claire. And if anyone can make this happen, it's you. I think we should proceed with the idea of seeking severance pay. But we'll need to move quickly, gather any evidence you have, and document everything.”
