There was a variety of food inside the thermos. Olivia looked at it closely, assuming it was freshly made that morning. Even though she didn't have much appetite, the bright and colorful dishes caught her attention. After thinking for a few seconds, she decided to pick up the utensils and sit down to eat. She chewed each bite slowly and thoroughly, until she had eaten a huge portion of the meal from the thermos. It was the most she had eaten in days. After she finished, she put down the utensils and stood up from the table. Then she walked over to the window to look outside. The fog was really thick today. A vast blanket of white covered everything, and she couldn't see anything below. Olivia looked at the view for several seconds before turning away and heading toward the bathroom. She remembered how much cigarette smoke there had been last night and wanted to wash the lingering smell off herself. Just as she was thinking about this, a sudden knock on the door interrupted her.
