Freya’s P.O.V I entered Cameron’s room quietly, closing the door behind me and felt like I had just landed in Siberia. Fuck! This place was freezing! I rubbed my hands together to warm them and when I breathed out, my breath actually fogged in front of my face. My teeth were starting to chatter from the cold. Looking around the dimly lit room, I found that the curtains were drawn shut and that there were at least five air conditioners inside the room, all at minimum temperature. Cameron was lying on a bed, surrounded by large ice cubes in large trays and they had even taken his shirt off. He only wore shorts that reached his knees, but otherwise, he didn’t have any other item on his body. Worried that he might be cold, I placed my hand lightly on his forehead, only to remove it instantly. Cameron was still burning up and from what I could get, he had to be about 120 degrees, if not more. How was that even possible? But then again…it gave me a clear indication that he wasn’t human. Swal
