"My first shift?" Matt asked, an underlying hint of embarrassment clear in his voice. "Yeah. Tell me about it," Camden pressed with a smile, figuring that might be a good way to fill the time. She'd done her absolute best not to get to know Matt better, certain that it would only make it harder to go through with the ritual. But they were here now.
