The day started like any other. I was bustling around the gallery, preparing for a new exhibit. The past few weeks had been particularly hectic, with multiple events and projects demanding my attention. I had been pushing myself hard, ignoring the subtle signs my body was giving me.
"Lily, you look tired," Marissa, my assistant, remarked as I walked by her desk. "Are you sure you don't need a break?"
"I'm fine, Marissa," I replied with a smile, though I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me. "Just a lot to do."
