NATASHA’S POV “Cops?” The sound of the slap I gave Tony resounded around the room. The rest of his gang flinched. “You bitched away because of the cops?” Tony glared hard at the floor. “You said we shouldn’t get caught,” he said tightly. I scoffed, running my hand through my hair. “Fucking pussies.” Nothing was going my way. After five years of treating me like a second-rate citizen, Kade was finally marrying me. Yeah, I knew it was because of what my father was holding over his head, and that if he had his way, he’d sooner cut my limbs off than put a ring on my finger. That's why I had to make sure nothing distracted him. And his number one distraction was the thorn in my side, Andrea Carter. But with everything coming down on her head, I knew it was only a matter of time before she cut her losses and left my city. She just needed a push. Which was why I sent my guys to rough up her crew. If she knew the people around her were in danger, she would leave quicker, right? But the idiots
