CHAPTER 66: THE CONFESSION.. THE PROMISE.. THE CHICKEN

Viola’s face was filled with sorrow, her words a confession of her deepest fears. “When your father passed away, so many people tried to steal the company from us. I did my best to keep it, to grow it. And now that we’re facing this crisis, our enemies must be laughing at us, scheming ways to take the business from us.” She shook her head, her voice breaking. “I just can’t let that happen.” Juliet’s eyes glistened with sympathy, but her resolve remained firm. Juliet’s steps were slow and deliberate, her voice a gentle lullaby of comfort. “Mother, I promise you.” Her voice was a breath of calm, a whisper of hope. “I will do everything in my power to make those who are mocking us eat their words. I will not rest until we have reclaimed our rightful place as the leaders of this industry.” Viola looked up, her eyes filled with tears. “But how? How can we possibly overcome this crisis?” she pleaded, her voice desperate. Viola’s face was a picture of confusion and despair. “How?” she
