CHAPTER FORTY TWO – AN AUNT’S ADVICE
That evening, as the office emptied and the cleaning staff made their rounds, Miguel found himself alone in the conference room, surrounded by charts and graphs detailing the satellite office's performance. He rubbed his eyes, feeling the weight of his actions over the past few months.
His phone buzzed, startling him. It was a message from his aunt Rosa in Spain. "Mijo, it's been too long. Call your tía when you have a moment."
Miguel smiled despite himself. Aunt Rosa had always been his confidante, the one person he could turn to when the weight of running the company became too much. Without thinking twice, he dialed her number.
"Miguel!" Rosa's warm voice filled the line. "I was beginning to think you'd forgotten about your old tía."
Miguel chuckled. "Never, Tía. How are you?"
