Elijah shouted in agony, "Why? Why didn't you tell me!" Liam was puzzled and asked, "Are you okay, Mr. Kent?" Elijah snapped out of it and looked at him. "Let me ask you a question. If someone saved your life but you didn't know and kept targeting them, why wouldn't they tell you they saved you? After all, you wouldn't target them anymore if they told you." Liam thought for a moment before saying, "It's simple. The first reason could be that they thought I knew who saved me, but they assumed I didn't care about repaying the favor since I never asked. So, saying it wouldn't make a difference. "The second reason might be that they don't consider saving me a big deal, so they see no need to bring it up."
