Jian Jianan’s expression changed slightly. Since she was not speaking, Lian Jiang did not pressure her. “How do you want me to help you?” Jian Jianan raised her eyebrows, her pretty eyes glimmering with mischief, “I heard the troop is having a physical examination next week. Are you going? Can you take me with you?” Lian Jiang was speechless. She should have known Jian Jianan would be up to something, “You’re not a nurse, and you don’t even know how to take blood samples. Why should I bring you?” “I can measure blood pressure. The army hospital had sent four doctors and six nurses. As soon as she arrived, Jian Jianan scanned everywhere for Gu Mocheng and followed obediently behind Lian Jiang when her search was fruitless. She did not expect Lian Jiang to be examining the male urogenital system. That would mean every one of the men had to take their trousers off for Lian Jiang to examine! The crux of that the one who registered the soldiers for examination was Gu Mocheng… Although she had lived for more than twenty years, she had never really seen the most sacred part of a man’s lower body. Watching a row of men take their trousers off and stand there, waiting to be examined, she felt a twinge of excitement in spite of her nervousness! ‘Since Gu Mocheng was here, would he be taking his trousers off for this examination too? ‘I wonder if his ‘Little Cheng’ is healthy - if it’s strong and majestic!’ she thought. Then, she remembered she was in full nurse attire, and Gu Mocheng could not recognize her from just her eyes, so she raised her head and stared shamelessly into his pupils. “Everyone is here. Ready… all of you, trousers off, now! Boxers too!” The soldiers here were all new recruits, and as they noticed that the doctor and nurse were female, embarrassment fell over them. Even at Gu Mocheng’s orders, they did not take off their trousers. “Why are you all still standing around stunned? There’s another group of soldiers waiting to be examined. Trousers off! Why does she seem interested to look at other men?’ Lian Jiang thought. “One, two, three, off!” “Wait!” Just as the soldiers gripped the edges of their trousers, ready to pull them down, Gu Mocheng’s harsh voice resounded in the large hall. Every gaze turned towards Gu Mocheng, even Jian Jianan’s. Gu Mocheng strode expressionlessly to Lian Jiang, with his hawk-like eyes briefly glaring at Jian Jianan. Jian Jianan’s heart fluttered with worry. His eyes seemed to be able to see right through her. “Doctor Lian, lend me your nurse!” Immediately, and ignoring the stunned and surprised faces in the hall, he wordlessly pulled Jian Jianan out of the hall into an oasis of green that was the army hospital. “Er… Colonel Gu, where are you taking me? I have to do body examination for the new recruits, and Doctor Lian will be unable to do it all by herself…” The moment she finished her sentence, Jian Jianan found herself pinned to an old tree with a thick and strong trunk. Gu Mocheng had a strong arm, Jian Jianan’s upper back hurt from being thrown hard into the tree, “Colonel Gu, you’re hurting me!” “Jian Jianan! If he claimed to be second, no one would dare claim to be the first. Actually, he had identified her when he first saw her with Doctor Lian. Even if she dressed herself up and tied her always loose hair into a ponytail, he could still recognize her at first glance. There were many people with peach blossom-shaped eyes in the world, but only she had her eyes: dream-like, filled with a youthful, innocent spirit. At first, he was wondered why she was here masquerading as a nurse, but he never expected her to not shy away when the soldiers were having their lower parts examined, not to mention openly gaping at them. ‘Damn this girl, has she no shame?’ he thought. “Why don’t you tell me what I was planning to do, since you’re so smart?” Her slim fingers prodded Gu Mocheng’s chest, near his heart, “Gu Mocheng, I am pursuing you!” “Huh…” Gu Mocheng sneered suddenly, a taunting look on his incredibly handsome face. “You’re in love with me?”
