William texted, "I know you won't meet up with me, so I've got leverage. I have your grandfather's address book from before he passed. Haven't you been trying to investigate that accident for years? Are you sure you don't want it?" William knew Sienna too well. He'd hit her where it hurt. Her mother, Eleanor, and her grandfather, Wade Campbell, had died in a major accident years ago—at least, that was what Carl had always told her. She'd been too young to understand and was sent overseas to attend school. By the time she returned, she was told they were gone, their deaths sudden and unexplained. Afterward, anything tied to their lives had vanished, as though someone had wiped away all traces of their existence. Sienna hadn't questioned it at first, only wanting to understand the cause of the accident. Back when she and William were close, she'd even asked for his help in locating Wade's staff and any leads. The address book was likely something he'd uncovered during that search.
