Chapter 237: Returning the Gift
Viennel now knew where the rats had come from. They had been hidden inside the rose-patterned bench. No wonder the bottom was sealed off; it was hiding the rats. These rats had very sharp teeth and claws, capable of easily gnawing through wood and digging holes in the ground.
"Excellent, you've really angered me," Viennel said with a smile. "Since you like rats so much, I'll return them to you."
Hank arrived with a large cage and asked, "Viennel, what do you need this cage for? Oh my God, what happened to the lawn?"
Viennel asked, "Are you afraid of rats?"
Hank's eyes widened. "Me? Afraid of rats? No way!"
"That's good," Viennel nodded. "This lawn has been overrun by rats. Our task now is to catch these rats and put them in the cages."
"What?" Hank thought he had misheard. "You want us to catch rats?"
Viennel nodded again. "Someone gave me a 'gift' of rats, and I think it's only polite to return the favor."
