••• Charlotte’s POV ••• “Nope.” Leo shook his head and pushed me away from my study door. “But-” “No means no, Lottie. You still need to rest for a few more days and I won't allow you to work just yet. Your father thinks the same way too,” he prohibited me from entering my study. “But it’s been a few days and I’ve healed, and I’m not that weak,” I whined. “Nope. Go home and rest. And do your internet thing,” he pushed me away gently again. “You are bad. I’m going to punish you when I’m back to work.” I glared at him. “I’ll be waiting.” He chuckled and entered the study. I tried to open the study door only to be speechless when I found out Leo had locked me out. This Beta of mine!
