CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SIX HOW COULD YOU, JAVION?
JAVION'S POV
After the party, with the walls echoing cheers of celebration, I decided it was time for a break. I glanced at Daphne, who was sitting nearby, and gave her a reassuring smile before heading to my room.
Once there, I stood for a moment, letting the weight of the day sink in, before finally sitting on my bed.
Not long after, I heard a knock at the door. The scent was unfamiliar, definitely a lady, but not one I recognized. She opened the door and entered, carrying a drink.
"Who are you?" I asked, eyeing her suspiciously.
"I'm nobody in the pack," she replied softly, "I brought this drink on the Luna's behest."
That made me pause. Why would Daphne send me a drink? Something felt off. "Just leave it here and go," I told her, my eyes narrowing.
She placed the drink on the table and left. I couldn't shake the suspicion, but the drink looked enticing. Against my better judgment, I took a sip, intending to drink just a little. It was sweet, incredibly so, and I found mysel
