Chapter 32

Charles brought Naomi to the hospital where a doctor diagnosed her with an inflammatory reaction to the burn and admitted her for observation. The doctor who dressed Naomi's wound mentioned that there was a likelihood of her developing a fever as a complication of her burn and warned Charles to take her to the nearest hospital if she ran a fever. Unfortunately, Naomi's situation warranted hospitalization for IV fluids and observation. Charles signed the admission papers, then popped out to buy some necessities for Naomi's stay.
