"No need. I'll just wait for Naomi to come back, and have whatever she's having." Realization dawned upon Ian when he heard this. The only reason Scott had even shown up in the first place was because of Naomi, and she would, similarly, be the reason he stayed. "Alright then. I'll tell them to start up the grill, so you and Naomi can eat as soon as she's back. Please take a seat first, Mr. Lawson." "No, it's fine. She'll be back soon." Scott spoke of Naomi as though he knew her every move, like how a devoted husband would. Ian paused momentarily, and then a glimmer of understanding flashed through his eyes as he said, "Well, are you sure you don't want to take a seat while you wait?" "No, it's fine. I'll just go around and see what everyone's doing." With that, he turned and trudged towards the direction of the grill, as though to check on their progress. Ian was still at a loss for words. He had to admit that Scott seemed to have a knack for surprising people with his every sen
