Layla kept tossing around the bed as she found it difficult to fall asleep. The night was cold as it was also raining but she felt restless. She could have stood up a long time ago and taken a stroll around the room but Nolan was around as he was working on something. He was not yet asleep. "Having trouble sleeping?" She heard his voice and she stiffened, he must have noticed her discomfort. "Yes…" she replied as she released a sharp breath. "Why? You have the whole bed to yourself" he teased as he was busy writing some reports that were supposed to be delivered to the elders the next morning. "I don't know.." she confessed as she removed the duvet that was covering her body and she sat up resting her head on the headboard. "I'm feeling restless…" she uttered as she stood up from the bed and walked over to the window.  She just couldn't fathom why she was finding it so hard to sleep, no matter how hard she shut her eyes, she always ended up opening them and tossing around restlessly.
