Trevor stood on the landing of the glass bridge, taking pictures.
"Come over, Celine." He waved me over.
I joined him at where he stood by the intricately designed railing and hugged him with one arm, resting my head on his shoulder.
Trevor's sagged that shoulder down, raised his phone with the other hand, and called, "Cheers."
I flashed a grin, watching the camera, and he took the shots.
We made several poses, capturing ourselves on the phone's memory.
Trevor tucked his phone away. "Let's race. The first to reach the end of the bridge gets preferential treatment for a week."
"I love the sound of that." I smiled mischievously, agreeing to the challenge.
"At the count of three.1..."
"This competition won't be fair," I interrupted Trevor. "I'm in heels. You are in shoes. It would be easier for you to cross."
"The bridge is sturdy. You can walk easily as you would on the floors of your company."
"I'm talking about speed, Trevor, not the bridge's sturdiness."
