Zion's sudden question caught Maeve off guard. "You don't know what that means?"
"Not really," he admitted.
"It's when a woman gives birth and needs to increase milk production."
Zion frowned and asked earnestly, "Do men need to drink it?"
"No, women drink it."
"I see." Zion nodded thoughtfully. "So, if you decide to have kids in the future..."
"You'll just make soup for me to drink?" Maeve teased.
"I won't let you drink it."
"What kind of logic is that?"
"I've heard that breastfeeding can be really painful for mothers, and I don't want you to suffer."
Maeve chuckled at his earnestness. "If you don't want me to breastfeed, what will our child drink?"
"Let him drink formula."
Zion's casual response made it seem as if the child had little to do with him.
"Honestly, you fool," Maeve said. "Even if you don't breastfeed, it'll still be painful for the mother if the milk isn't released."
