Go Shopping
Fiona was skeptical.
Ethan cleared his throat and changed the subject. "Didn't you want to go shopping, Fiona? Let's go."
"I don't want to go."
Fiona grabbed Ethan's arm intimately, and as usual, there was a coquettish tinge to her voice as she whined, "If I really told you to go shopping with me, those sisters-in-law of mine might just die of jealousy."
"How could that be? I've always been a pure, innocent guy."
Ethan spoke in a serious tone.
The two cousins walked to the side of the car together. No one paid attention to Hubert, who was shivering with fear as he laid on the sidewalk.
It wasn't until Ethan finally took Fiona away that Hubert, who had been so frightened that he had turned into a pile of mud, came to his senses.
Looking at the wooden rod on the ground, which Lucille had snapped in half like it was nothing, Hubert hurriedly touched his head. After making sure that it was still intact, his eyes were filled with both fear and relief.
Ring, ring, ring.
The phone kept ringin
