The next morning Liam called me as I sat down with Willow to have breakfast. “Brother,” he said into the phone. “I spoke with the alpha this morning, and he said he’d send over as many warriors as you need.” I sighed and sat back in my seat. Willow picked at her food while watching me with a curious look. I hadn’t been able to stop thinking about what she said to me the night before. I felt that from her, but she’d never said it.
