Chapter 6  Unexpected Kindness

When dinner was over, Eleanor stood up to clean up, but Lucas stopped her and said, "Don't." She replied, "I haven't even touched the dishes." Eleanor was shocked. Lucas leaned in and said, "I'm a financial broker, and it's important to read people in my job. If you don't, you'll be at a disadvantage." He then got up and started to pick up both dishes.
