Cordelia was stunned. Confused, she looked at Annie. Annie sighed and whispered next to her ear, “I’ll just lay it out for you. The stories were vivid, saying that he was often arrested due to fights. He was imprisoned for years and was only released recently.” Cordelia was not sure whether to laugh or cry.
