Chapter 3: Stomachache

Aria was very beautiful, tall and well-proportioned, making her a perfect match for Austin. However, since becoming a homemaker, Nora only wore T-shirts and long pants, never bothered with makeup, appearing like a plain housewife. Nora couldn't compare to Aria because, apart from presenting her best self to Austin, she didn't care about others. "Austin, this tie looks really good on you. It suits you," Aria chose a tie. Austin hung a fond smile on his face, "Anything you choose looks good." Aria shyly smiled, "Then hurry up and change." Austin obediently untied the tie, handed the old one to Aria, and then tied the new one around his collar. Aria made a face, "This tie is too old-fashioned, throw it away. Let's use a new one." "Yeah." Nora sat across from them, covering her disheveled figure with just a few pieces of clothing. She watched as Aria threw away the tie that she had carefully selected that morning. She felt as if her love for Austin was also discarded. "I'll beat that bitch for you!" Harper grumbled angrily. Nora quickly grabbed Harper, shaking her head. "No need. Just leave them alone." "Do you have no self-respect? Austin is your husband," Harper exclaimed. Nora bit her lip with a bitter expression. "Not anymore." "You still won't tell him? It's clear that you saved him five years ago, but it ended up being Aria. You've kept this secret for so long. Are you planning to keep it forever?" Harper scolded with frustration. Nora lifted her head. She had told Austin, but he didn't believe her. He lost a part of his memory, and she didn't blame him. However, she didn't want Austin to be alone in the days to come. After parting ways with Harper, Nora took the carefully picked suit to Austin's office. She wanted to give him the prepared suit so that he wouldn't have to worry about these trivial matters in his work or when he returned home. At the doorway, Aria's voice came from inside, "Austin, stop it, that's enough..." The delicate moans made Nora stiffen in her tracks. This time, it wasn't heartache but a stomachache, causing spasms throughout her body. She pushed the door open and saw Austin and Aria lying on the sofa. Aria's back was nearly bare. Upon seeing Nora enter, Aria anxiously and flusteredly nestled into Austin's embrace. Austin furrowed his brows and shouted sternly, "Get out!" Nora forced herself to stay composed, smiling as she said, "Miss Mitchell is so impatient, playing around in the office." Aria looked towards Austin with a hint of grievance, and Austin's face turned extremely dark. He coldly declared, "Nora, what Aria and I do has nothing to do with you. Get out!" Nora clenched her fists, her heart tightening. She felt a surge of warmth threatening to overflow from her throat. Placing the suit she held on the office desk, she forced a cheerful smile. "Austin, this is your suit. Remember to take it with you in the future. Otherwise, you'll forget in your busy work, and even if I'm not here, you should take good care of yourself." "What's wrong with you?" Austin was displeased, standing behind Nora. Nora turned around, her gaze lingering on Austin. "Nothing, just afraid you won't take care of yourself." "Nora, you don't need to worry. I will take good care of Austin." Aria hooked her arm around Austin's, saying, "I just prepared seafood for Austin. Why don't you have some too?" Nora took a bite, the strong fishy smell causing her stomach to twist in pain. The rusty, bloody taste surged into her throat. Unable to bear it, she covered her lips and rushed to the bathroom, retching violently. Blood stained the white tiles, giving a particularly grotesque appearance. Nora's face turned pale as she looked into the mirror. When Austin walked in, she hurriedly turned on the tap to wash away the blood.
