CHAPTER THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY THREE – A TARGETED ATTACK
The following morning, Jasmine and Marco made their way to the marina where Don Cesaro's yacht was docked. The sleek vessel, named "La Serenità," gleamed in the morning sun, its polished white hull reflecting the sparkling water.
As they approached, Marco placed a reassuring hand on Jasmine's back. "Don't worry," he said softly. "My father will know what to do."
They boarded the yacht, greeted by a crew member who led them to the upper deck. Don Cesaro sat in a plush chair, sipping espresso and reading a newspaper. He looked up as they approached, his weathered face breaking into a smile.
"Ah, Marco, Jasmine! What a pleasant surprise," Don Cesaro said, setting aside his paper. "Come, sit. Would you like some coffee?"
"No, thank you, Father," Marco replied, his voice tense. "We need to talk about something serious."
Don Cesaro's smile faded, replaced by a look of concern. "What's happened?"
