Chapter 11

Tara was slanderous and put away the phone in a kind manner. Although she didn't eat any more, she was still caught by Leo to accompany him to finish the meal. After cleaning up the dishes, Tara went to the study room on the third floor to find him. After getting permission, she pushed the door and went in. Leo had changed into a dark blue satin nightgown with a slightly open neckline, revealing a nice collarbone and wheat-colored skin. She doesn't know but she thought it was his way to hook people. Tara looked a little uncomfortable, lowered her eyes, and passed the phone in her hand, "This is what I took today. Look at it." Leo took it, clicked on the video, and watched the entire passage blankly, "Send a copy to my mailbox to keep the record." Tara took the phone back, a little surprised at his calmness, "That's it?" The man asked, "What else?" "..." Seeing that she was silent, the man said again, "If I were you, I would check Zion's room and get a record before he could hide the information." Tara suddenly realized how she hadn't thought of it before! "I will check tomorrow." After finishing speaking, she was about to leave in a hurry but was yelled by Leo. She thought the other party had any questions to say, but unexpectedly he asked, "Why did the video suddenly break in the end?" Tara twitched in her heart, lowered her eyelids to cover the panic under her eyes, pretending to be calm, and said, "It's nothing. The phone fell on the ground." Obviously, Leo would not be fooled by her in a few words. He knew what was going on when she moved her head. He looked carefully at her small face. There were a few inconspicuous red marks on the corners of her mouth, covered with a layer of powder which was covered by her. His expression stunned, "Did he beat you?" Tara didn't want to be discovered in such a predicament, and quickly lowered her head and used the hair around her ear to block it, "No, no one hit me. It's just that the phone is not steady." "Tara, I don't like others lying to me." Leo's expression completely sank, "I'll give you another chance, tell me the truth, huh?" The man had a threat in his eyes. Tara looked at her heart and bit her lip. After all, she didn't have the courage to continue to lie to him, and lowered her head in embarrassment, "My husband's mistress, Maegan." "..." Leo groaned for a few seconds, exhaling a heavy breath, gritted his teeth in hatred of iron and steel, "I also took over a divorce lawsuit a few years ago. It's not uncommon for the mistress to be beaten up by the original partner, but it's my first time to encounter this case wherein the legal wife was beaten by the mistress." Tara looked up ironically and retorted in a low voice, "I was also hit by Zion." Leo sneered, "Should I praise you for being awesome, huh?" "……No need to." Seeing the little woman with her head shrunk in front of him, Leo felt a sense of frustration for the first time. He didn't say a word, and turned around out of the study room. Just when Tara was reflecting on whether she had provoke him, this person came back with a medicine kit in his hand. He sat on the sofa, flipped out a bottle of iodine and said, "Come here." Tara obediently walked over and sat down, and the beaten cheek on the left was immediately coated with cool iodine, followed by ointment. The texture was soft and mixed with the temperature of the man's fingertips, giving it a gentle illusion. Tara couldn't help taking a peek at him. The man looked down at her wound, focusing and is careful. It was much more pleasing to the eye than the usual appearance of worms rushing to the brain. He actually helped her with medicine that even Zion had never done so. Tara's heartbeat speeded up for a while, and he was caught by Leo just as he was about to look away. "Have you seen enough?" Tara's thin skin blushed when she was teased by him and Leo's calm heart was agitated when he saw it. "Thank you...", the little woman said awkwardly. Leo raised his eyebrows, and threw away the ointment in his hand. "Rather than saying, I prefer practical thanks." "What the ...Um!" Before she finished speaking, the man's slender fingers suddenly stroked her mouth, and it felt like... Tara couldn't speak but only felt weird. She stretched out her hand to clasp the man's wrist, trying to pull his two fingers out but was clasped on the leg by him, so she didn't even have the chance to struggle. Tara just wanted to shut up, but her teeth knocked on his fingers and scared her to open again immediately. Her big eyes slowly turned red as if she wants to cry. He didn't just constrain her, but it became worse. Finally, he had enough play to withdraw. There was a wet towel on the table, and Leo took it over and wiped his fingers carefully only to see Tara sitting there with a blank expression. Her eyes were filled with confusion. She seemed to be ignorant of what she was doing now, and Leo almost reacted in a pure and clean manner. But they just did it in the kitchen and she couldn't bear it. "Zion has no emotions with you. I guess he has never seen you the way you are now." Leo thought of the woman in the video that Tara showed him just now, and said sarcastically, "I don't want to eat delicacies. I prefer to chew. Stir-fried rice."
