We endured the rest of the ride in silence and that was because I knew Logan was barely holding onto his sanity by a thread. I just put my head against the window and stared out. When he thought I wasn't looking he would glance at me and I would see him glance at the marks on my wrist that the rope had made and clench his jaw or tighten his grip on the steering wheel. We had barely gotten through the threshold of the house when Logan stopped me. 'I know you probably want to take a shower," he began and I nodded, 'But when you get out I want you to wear my shirt."
