Chapter 11
Lana Castroff
I might not looked that nervous but I was dying inside. I was dying because of his touch, his kisses and the way he always pulled my body to his. My brain stopped functioning from time to time.
I looked at myself at the mirror and looked down to see the wedding ring. Phoenix asked me to wear it tonight for the after party, he's going to go for it. He already told his parents and they were excited. They demanded a big wedding and I really hate the idea when we're not even real.
I slipped the ring into my ring finger and looked at the mirror again. I walked out from the bathroom and tried to look for Phoenix.
"Phoenix." I called him.
"Yeah?" I heard him coming in from outside.
"Could you help me tie this on the back?" I asked because it was hard for me to make the tie perfect. I exposed my back to him and put my hair to the front.
"You look beautiful." He commented as I felt his touch on my bare back and flinched a little. He tied it and I turned around smiling.
"I think.. I over dress. Do you think I should change?" I asked and he shook his head.
"You look fine, let's go." He said as he slipped his arm to my waist and he even grabbed my small clutch for me. We walked out from the beautiful hotel room and walked towards the venue.
When we arrived at the venue, it was like a wedding of the century. Very luxurious, very big and just screams the best wedding ever. Everyone dressed beautifully and the bride herself just.. very very beautiful. She's the definition of a princess.
"I told you.. you'll be okay." I turned to Phoenix and chuckled. We walked in and Phoenix called Edeline and Lorenzo, the newlywed couple.
"Congratulations, you two!" Phoenix hugged them both at once and they turned to Lana.
"Meet Lana, she's my wife." I said and they both have their jaw dropped.
"You're lying." Edeline said as she grabbed my hands.
"Congratulations and it's nice meeting you. Phoenix told me about you about your awesome skill in cooking." He really did.
"Thankyou so much and I can't believe this. It was nice meeting you too, I've been dying to know you." She squealed and I turned to Lorenzo congratulating him as well.
"Are you for real?" Lorenzo asked Phoenix and he showed them his wedding ring. Edeline looked down to my hand and gasped.
"I can't believe you.. got married first. Why didn't you invite me to your wedding?!" Edeline smacked Phoenix's arm hard.
"We just registered it first, we will have the ceremony around next month. She still has things to settle so.. we're taking it easy." Phoenix said as he wrapped his arm around me.
"I thought you said you won't get married.." Edeline hissed and Phoenix kissed my cheek.
"I met the one.. why not?"
"You're so whipped!" Edeline chuckled.
We talked for more a little bit but they have to greeted other guests. We both really convince everyone that we're a really happy couple. I can't even believe I'm doing this smoothly. Am I that good of an actor?
"I will feel sorry once we divorce.. I fooled a lot of people." I sighed.
"It's fine, Lana. They're forcing me to get married all the time, they will respect my decisions too when we got divorce." He said and I turned to him completely out of words. He has the perfect family and why do he want to hurt them?
For the rest of the night, he introduced me as his wife. He never even take his hands off me. We acted really well that all of his family members were very happy for us. We kissed a lot, hugged a lot, held each other hands a lot and just lying to people.
Phoenix sat down on the chair and he pulled me to sit on his lap. I wrapped my hands around his neck leaning my head to his shoulder. Completely tired lying and trying to act like a couple.
"You're tired."
"Very much." I said and he caressed my bare back.
"Don't even.." I said and he chuckled as he took his hand off from my back.
"You did a great job, everyone loves you." He said and I sighed.
"Your family is awesome, Phoenix. I think you shouldn't fool them like that." I said as I leaned back. He chuckled and shrugged. "Why not? They kept forcing me."
"It's because they love you, they want what's best for you." I said and he rolled his eyes.
"They should have let me live my life." I shook my head hearing him say that. I grabbed a glass of champagne from the waiter and drank it in on shot.
"Wow.. slow down, babe." I almost choked on my champagne when he said that. I glared at him and he chuckled.
"I wanna ask something about Adrian." I said and he raised his eyebrows.
"You're really interested in him huh?" He asked looking at me suspiciously.
"Did his family really disown him?" I asked ignoring his question and suddenly Phoenix got up. "Uncle Garcie!" he hugged his uncle tightly.
"Uncle, this is my wife, Lana." He introduced me to his uncle. We talked for a little bit more. I sat down after talking because I'm quite tired. Standing in heels and mingling with everyone will tire you. Phoenix was busy talking with his family and friends while he let me rest.
"You must be Lana." I turned to see a man sitting down on the chair beside me.
"I am and you are?"
"I'm Eric, Lorenzo's friend." He introduced himself.
"Phoenix never brings his girlfriend to any occasion, this is his first time." He said and I chuckled. I grabbed a glass of white wine from the waitress who passed by.
"I'm actually his wife." I said and he raised his eyebrows.
"You guys got married?" He asked and I nodded.
"That's new."
