Chapter 58 Helen said some greetings to the ladies by the road as she walked past with Adam. She kept looking out hoping to see Alpha Max but she didn't. She decided to go to her place and make some warm milk and cookies for Adam,who looked hungry. "So,did your dad tell you which way he went before leaving you?"Helen asked, hoping to get some valuable information from the young boy. "Uh . no. He only said he wanted to meet a few friends and get me a set of game boards",Adam replied. With the way young Adam sounded,Helen knew she might not get anything more from him. She overlooked it and continued on her walk to her place. Arriving at her place,she opened the creaking door and set Adam on the closest sofa. She didn't mean it when she told Rachel she had some chores to do. Helen only said that because she wanted to excuse herself when she felt Alpha Max's statement was an overpowering presence. If there was anything she was extremely good at apart from being a social butterfly,it w
