Lucas and Alex had just sat down at their table when Alex's eyes caught sight of the familiar person in the corner. "Alice?" Alex wasn't entirely sure if the woman he had spotted was indeed Alice, considering how improbable her presence here was. "Alice? Why are you suddenly mentioning her?" Lucas was perplexed by the sudden mention of Alice's name. Alex gestured towards someone behind Lucas, leading him to turn around and follow Alex's gaze. When Lucas laid eyes on Alice, he was utterly astonished, mirroring Alex's reaction. "What on earth is she doing here?" Lucas muttered. He shot Alex a searching look, expecting an explanation.
