Chapter 352 No Real Empathy

No one would have expected things to go this way. Shaun and Soren waited until the surgery was over and saw Lindsey lying unconscious on the operating table. Zayn sat on the side looking deep in thought and did not say a word. Shaun was dumbfounded at the door for a moment. In the next second, he rushed over and grabbed Zayn by the collar. "Where's the baby? What the f*ck did you do?! Where's Lindsey’s baby?" He kept questioning Zayn, but Zayn only raised his eyes and looked at him. Then, he pried Shaun’s hand away from him one finger at a time. "Get your hand off of me!" Shaun's anger was instantly aroused by his words. His other hand clenched into a fist and he smashed it hard on the side of Zayn's forehead. "You bastard! Where did the baby go?! Zayn Guggenheim! Say something!" His punch was not lighthanded. Zayn's face quickly turned red and swollen, but Zayn did not even move one bit. He did not bother to hit Shaun back or even glance at Shaun. Shaun completely lost his mind.
