Aiden POV In the middle of the night when I noticed Anna would be asleep already, I stood up from the bed. Opening the door slowly, I tiptoed to her room. The windows in her room was opened wide and wind was passing through. My eyes moved to Anna and I saw her shivering on the bed without a blanket. Walking up to the windows, I closed them up. My eyes moved to the fireplace and I saw that the maids didn’t light it up to keep her room warm. I pulled up the cupboard where logs of wood was kept and I placed them in the fire place before lighting it up. I stood up and went to where Anna was sleeping. Taking the blanket on her bed, I tucked it around her body. I looked down at her, unable to break my gaze from her.
