Chapter 884 Paralyzed

I was worried about Idris and hurried to the hospital with her. The weather in Lorrell was much colder than in Lake City, and Emily and I both felt the chill when we arrived at the hospital. Idris had been moved from the emergency room to a normal hospital room. As we reached Idris's room, Emily was about to knock on the door when it opened from the inside. Liam was standing there. He paused upon seeing us and said, "You're here." Then his gaze fell on me, "You stayed up all night, Ms. Scott. Why don't you get some rest? I'll stay here with Grandma for Iddy." Concerned about Idris, I did not pay much attention to his words. I just looked past him to the bed and asked, "Is Idris okay?" He stepped aside, and I hurried into the room before he could answer. That was when I saw Idris lying on the bed motionless, and his blood-soaked clothes were now replaced with hospital garments. Even so, he was covered in life-supporting devices and tubes. I froze and turned back to Liam, feeling b
