CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY SIX: LOST
As Anna's condition worsened, her memory lapses became more frequent and severe. Simple things like forgetting where she put her keys or what day it was became daily occurrences, but it was when she started forgetting people that Jonathan knew they were facing a new level of challenges.
One day, as they were out for a walk in the park, Anna suddenly stopped in her tracks, her brow furrowed in confusion. "Who are those people?" she asked, pointing to a group of children playing nearby.
Jonathan's heart sank as he realized what was happening. "Those are just some children playing, Anna," he said gently, trying to hide his growing concern.
