CHAPTER 56 SUMMIT PLANNING

The federal government's heat was hard on my father. You could see it in his eyes; the lines on his face deepened daily.
One evening, he called me into his study.
The stress of finding out about the missing humans seems to weigh him down.
"Dominic," he began, his voice carrying the fatigue of countless sleepless nights. "I can't handle the summit planning right now.
It's too much with everything going on.
I need you to take this on."
I nodded, understanding the gravity of his request.
"I'll take care of it, Dad. Don't worry."
The next day, I called my personal assistant, Wilson, into my office.
He walked in, his tablet ready to jot down notes.
"Wilson, we need to talk about the summit planning," I said, motioning for him to sit.
He raised an eyebrow, and his curiosity piqued.
"What's going on, Dominic?"
"My father handed the responsibility over to me.
The Feds are all over him, and he just can't manage it right now."
Wilson sighed, leaning back in his ch
