After much coaxing, the director finally caved, allowing Henry a brief respite to erect a portable villa on the stage’s north end.
Meanwhile, at Giselle Lambert’s treehouse, Henry had boldly ordered an aerial ladder installed. It would remain until the construction of the director’s villa was complete.
So, the expansive clearing in front of Giselle’s treehouse was overtaken by the towering ladder, forcing the dining area to shift outward by five meters.
Yet everyone suffered in silence, no one daring to provoke the man beside Giselle.
Unfazed, Giselle acted as though Henry was invisible, dragging Megan to the gym.
"Megan, what do you think of this move? It’s my squirrel impression," Giselle asked while executing an intricate jump.
Megan glanced at the motionless man by the door, his hand nonchalantly tucked in his pocket, and whispered, "Are you sure you should be dancing right now? Look at the havoc that walking disaster has wrought on everyone."
