IRENE'S POV That evening, I wanted everything to be perfect. It had been a while since I truly focused on Leon outside of our hectic schedules, and I knew he had been feeling the distance between us lately. So tonight, I made it my mission to remind him just how much he meant to me. The kitchen smelled divine as I finished plating the last of his favorite dishes. A slow smile crept across my face as I admired the spread roasted lamb and his favorite dessert, a rich chocolate drink.
